As part of a county-wide mural contest, I was commissioned to recreate the winning mural design at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park. The artwork was inspired by the park’s natural beauty, rich history, and connection to the Raritan River.

An open design competition welcomed Middlesex County residents to submit an original mural design inspired by the park.

The final mural honored the river, landscapes, and wildlife that make Raritan Bay such a beloved spot. Nature’s vibrancy was mirrored through color and movement.

Beyond beautifying the space, the mural activated conversations about public spaces, ecology, and shared ownership. It transformed a walkway into a destination.
